Baccarat Rules Here are the Baccarat Rules for Player and Bank sides. Players Side First Two Cards Having a Total of 0,1,2,3,4,5 Draws a Third Card Unless Banks Has a Natural 6 or 7 Stands 8 or 9 Natural. No Third Card for either side
Bank Side First Two Cards Totaling 0 1 2 (Draws a 3rd Card unless Player Side has a Natural) 8 or 9 Natural (No Third Card for either side) The game of Baccarat is strategically static, meaning that the rules are fixed. Players never have a choice, (as in Blackjack) to Hit or Stand. From this point on the cards basically Play Themselves The Player Side Stands on any two card total of 6 or greater. If the first to cards total 8 or 9, it is a Natural and there will be no 3rd card draw for either side. The Player Side rules for a third card draw are straight forward. The Player Side draws a 3rd card on a total of 5 or less, unless the Bank Side has a two card Natural Total of 8 or 9, in which case there is no 3rd card draw for either side. The Bank Side Stands on any two card total of 7 or greater. If the first to cards total 8 or 9, it is a Natural and there will be no 3rd card draw for either side. The Bank Side 3rd card draw is slightly more complicated, but still fixed. If the first two Bank Side cards total 0, 1 or 2, there will be a 3rd card drawn, unless the Player Side has a Natural 8 or 9. The Bank Side 3rd card draw on totals of 6, 5, 4, or 3 is dependent upon the 3rd card drawn for the Playey. See the simple chart below. Bank Side Rules for Drawing a Third Card Bank Two Player Side 3rd Card I suggest printing out the Baccarat Rules to use in conjunction with the Baccarat Third Card Drill. To begin Click On Baccarat 3rd Card Drill Click on New Hand Four Cards will be dealt. You must decide if there is a Natural Winner or Natural Tie. If so Click on It. If not You must decide if a 3rd card is necessary for the Player and/or Bank. If so Click on It Lastly, you must declare the outcome of the hand. Click on It. If you are not correct, you will see a Wrong message or Finish the Hand message If you are correct, the cards will disappear. Click New Hand to begin again. Enjoy & Learn |
